A two night stay is required for most weekends and three nights are required for selected holidays and special events.
A 100% deposit is required for all 1-night reservations. For stays of 2 nights or more, a 50% deposit is taken if reserved more than 2 weeks prior to arrival. Fourteen days before your arrival the balance is run on your card. You will have paid in full when you check in.
Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Because we are a small lodging establishment rather than a chain hotel, cancellations affect us significantly. We guarantee a room for each of our guests and NEVER oversell our rooms as larger properties do. We strictly enforce our cancellation policy. Once you have secured your reservation with a deposit, if you must change it for any reason, there will be a non-negotiable $25 credit card processing fee. If you cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit with at least 15 days full notice, less a $25 administration fee. If you must cancel within 14 days or less, we will gladly return your deposit as long as we are able to rent your room to another guest over the entire reserved period. We will make every effort to rent the room and return your deposit. For reservations made more than 14 days in advance, we take 50% of the amount due at the time of reservation for reservations of 2 days or more; 100% for one-night stays; 100% for reservations placed within the 14-day period prior to arrival. For reservations made more than fourteen days prior to arrival, we will charge the balance of your bill to your card 14 days before you arrive. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, we do not accept American Express. To pay cash at arrival, your payment will still be taken by credit card, but there will be a $5 charge for each voided card transaction. There are no cash refunds. Credits issued are subject to a 5% charge per transaction. Rates are based on Double Occupancy. Children 17 and under stay free in parents room.
As a Hotel we have no control over the weather conditions, and therefore we can't allow cancellations due to poor weather. Vacancies caused by late arrivals or early departures due to any circumstances are considered to be a cancellation and you will be charged for each night reserved unless it can be re-rented for the entire time. Please note: There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, whether it be for reasons of sickness, family or medical emergency, death in the family or weather, and as such, we recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance through Travelex, the travel protection website: www.travel-exinsurance.com 1-800-228-9792.
Rates are subject to change without notice. All Specials and Packages must be requested at time of reservation to receive discount rate. (Specials and Packages rates are not retroactive once your reservation has been made). Holidays and weekends may have minimum stay requirements. Check-in time is 3:00; Check out is 10 am. Early check-in and late check-outs can sometimes be arranged for an additional fee depending on daily occupancy. (Check-ins prior to 12 pm: $50). Check-out: 10-11 am: $20; 11-2: $50 extra; after 2 pm: daily room rate). Pre-arranged babysitting is available for $10 per hour for 1 child; $2 extra for each additional child (max. 4). Minimum babysitting fee/night is $25, which is charged at time of booking and is non-refundable if appointment is cancelled, but will go towards total cost of services provided if appointment is kept. Once placed, Polar Express Packages are non-cancellable, non-transferrable and non-refundable for either cash or credit.
Due to our commitment to health & wellness, environmental sustainability and the requests of our health minded guests, Nestlenook is a totally Non-Smoking facility and environment. There is NO SMOKING in any of the rooms or public areas. A $200 clean-up fee will be assessed to any room in which the occupants have smoked, in either their room, or on their balcony or patio. For insurance reasons the burning of candles is also strictly forbidden.
